Knowledge and Use Family Medicine Plants of Pasar 6th Village Kualanamu, Sumatera Utara

Medicinal plants are very beneficial for the health of Indonesian people. Preservation medicinal can be done in yard house so that it said as a family plant. Most people know knowledge benefits from their ancestral heritage. Pasar VI Kualanamau Village is one villages Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency, where community still uses and grows yards. Therefore, purpose this study was to determine utilization Kualanamu village community. The method used interview using questionnaire. Respondents who were included had an interest plants. results indicate majority quite lot types useful medicine, namely 44 known by function state all consumed respondents safe consumption. most with percentage value 100% include turmeric (Curcuma longa), ginger (Zingiber officinale), Red Ginger lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus).
